Kate Gosselin is unemployed again. A year after her reality show Kate Plus 8 wrapped up on the TLC network the mother-of-eight has been fired from her job as a blogger at website CouponCabin.com.

A letter posted on the site Tuesday from Coupon Cabin CEO Scott Kluth explains to her fans and followers why she was let go.

"A series of recent events have made it clear to me that Kate Gosselin and her contributions do not align with the authenticity which we set out to build almost a decade ago, and that Ms. Gosselin is simply not a good fit with the wonderful team and culture at CouponCabin,"...

Reality star Jon Gosselin is apologetic for his behavior following his split from Kate. The couple has worked through their differences and is getting along as parents of eight children, according to People magazine.

Referring to the women he dated following their break up, he explained, "I am sorry, because I did stuff I wouldn't want done to me."

He also accepts some of the blame for their divorce. "I was passive-aggressive. Then I'd get mad, but I was the one who wasn't communicating," he said.

Kate Plus 8 will not be back for another season, but TV bosses at TLC have hinted that future specials will air.

Gosselin first became a TV star in America when Jon & Kate Plus 8 first aired. She has since split from husband Jon and they were divorced in 2009.

A statement from TLC reads, "TLC has decided not to renew another season of Kate Plus 8. By the end of this season, Kate Plus 8 will have hit the 150 episode mark (including Jon & Kate Plus 8) - an exceptional milestone."

The Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry have granted child-labor permits for Kate Gosselin's twins and sextuplets to appear with their mother on a series of TLC specials, "Kate Plus 8."

The permits are good for six months and then must be renewed, according to AP news.

Producers should have obtained permits for "Jon & Kate Plus 8," which ended last year when the couple divorced. No legal action was taken.

Kate Gosselin is so standoffish on Dancing With the Stars, she has show staffers contact her through her bodyguard, reports the new issue of Us Weekly , on stands today.

"When the show needs to contact Kate, they go through Steve," a production source tells Us, adding that having personal security is not the norm for any of the other star competitors. "She acts like a major celebrity. It's a joke with the cast, like, 'Oh, look out -- the bodyguard is watching!'"

"'Jon & Kate Plus 8' is ending in mid-to-late November, as previously reported," a TLC spokeswoman said according to the New York Post.

Last month the network announced it would be renaming the series "Kate Plus 8" as of Nov. 2 due to the breakup between Jon and Kate. The date has been shifted. Jon later insisted TLC stop filming his eight kids.

According to sources, TCL is waiting for the couple to deal with personal issues before reassessing the situation.

Jon Gosselin has been trying to shut down production of "Kate Plus 8," formerly known as "Jon & Kate Plus 8," and TLC is firing back saying his legal move is purely in his own self-interest.

TLC said in a statement to People, "We are aware of Jon Gosselin's recent statements, and remain deeply disappointed at his continued erratic behavior. He and the family were shooting as recently as last Friday, without incident, and his latest comments are grossly inaccurate, without merit and are clearly opportunistic.

"Despite Jon Gosselin's repeated self destructive and unprofessional actions...

Jon Gosselin wants TLC to "cease and desist" production of "Jon & Kate Plus 8" and leave his property, according to The Insider.

Gosselin's attorney Mark Jay Heller told the entertainment show, "Jon realized his family was like a trainwreck, so he decided to put the brakes on the divorce and on the show...because if he didn't the family would be in a mortal accident...the victims of a trainwreck."

The attorney claims the Gosselin's agreement with the network may be "null and void" and not enforceable. He says TLC never secured special permits required by the Pennsylvania Child Labor ...
