"I know they're using the word procedural a lot, but I would not come back to television for anything other than this," Tamblyn said. "It's amazing."
The cases include prostitution and people in hot dog suits but Tamblyn is focused on her character. "I like that she's a lot like me, in that she's a smart-ass and tough and tomboyish an...

The Fall Of The Great American TV Theme Song
What happened to it? A catchy, sing-a-long theme song used to be part of the fun of watching a show. A great theme song could get you excited and in the mood to watch a show. Sometimes the theme song was the best part of a bad show. A theme song that caught your attention could get you to check out a show you weren't normally watching.
Theme songs used to tell what the show was about, like The Brady Bunch. The opening was the only way viewers knew the show was about a stepfamily. We would never have known WHY Gilligan and the gang were on the island or HOW those Hillbillies made it to...

Joe Mantegna Fills Mandy Patinkin Gap On 'Criminal Minds'
Joe Mantegna has joined the cast of Criminal Minds, just weeks after Mandy Patinkin quit the TV drama. Patinkin left Criminal Minds after not showing up for a script read-through when he realised his case-cracking character, Jason Gideon, was being written out of the show.
To fill the void left by Patinkin, producers have now hired veteran star Mantegna, who has appeared in movies including The Godfather: Part III and the TV series Joan of Arcadia, to play a new detective character.
