Lionel (Sherman Hemsley) and Jennifer (Berlinda Tolbert) are all ready to exchange their wedding vows on Christmas Eve. But the honeymoon may be over before it even begins. Lionel's dad George (Sherman Hemsley) is outraged that the marital ceremony will be performed by a white minister (Robert Sampson), who happens to be the nephew of Jennifer's dad, Tom (Franklin Cover).
