Tom Willis (Franklin Cover) saves the life of George Jefferson (Sherman Hemsley) with a timely application of the Heimlich maneuver. At first grateful to Tom, George quickly becomes resentful when everyone in the neighborhood fawns over the heroic Mr. Willis.
