Moviemaker Peter Farrelly has fired back at reports "Jackass" star Johnny Knoxville has replaced Jim Carrey in his "The Three Stooges" movie.

Farrelly insists he's yet to replace Carrey and Sean Penn in the comedy after both stars quit.

He tells Entertainment Weekly magazine, "You don't want people to think 'they already cast that thing,' because we haven't. It's wide open to everybody."

The Jackass star has a 13-year-old daughter, Madison, with his first wife Melanie Clapp, and 11-month-old son, Rocko, with his current wife, Naomi.

Reports suggest the "Dukes of Hazzard" star wed longtime girlfriend Naomi Nelson on Friday.

Sources tell Life & Style magazine Knoxville, real name Phillip John Clapp, and Nelson picked out an engagement ring in Los Angeles on Wednesday and then decided to get married.

Nelson, who is the mother of Knoxville's son Rocko, has been dating the star for just over two years.

It's the Jackass star's second marriage - he wed Melanie Lynn Cates in 1995 and the union lasted 13 years. They divorced last year.

Police were called to the TV wildman's The Note bar in West Chester, Philadelphia, when a fight broke out between Margera and an unknown female.

Margera is said to have been struck with the bat and newly-released photographs, published on TMZ.com, show the star strapped to a stretcher with his head encased in a brace.

He was taken to a nearby hospital and treated in the intensive care unit, according to his "Jackass" co-star Steve-O.
