20 Cunning Claire Underwood Quotes From 'House Of Cards'
There's an old saying that behind every great man is a great woman. But in the case of Frank and Claire Underwood, it's more like behind every great man is a woman with blood on her hands.

The first three seasons of Netflix's political thriller 'House of Cards' have provided fans with some powerful quotes courtesy of actor Kevin Spacey in his role as Frank Underwood. But actress Robin Wright has proven to be just as much Spacey's equal as Claire is to Frank. Double Threats: 7 Great Actors Who Excel In The Movies And On Te
The hierarchy when it comes to acting in Hollywood has historically always placed more importance and gravitas on the work of actors who have appeared on the silver screen when compared to their TV counterparts.

Legendary actors who got their start on TV like Bill Murray (Saturday Night Live), Michael Douglas (The Streets of San Francisco) and Denzel Washington (St. Elsewhere) were only said to have "made it" as huge stars once they were able to transition into movies.

But a strange thing has happened over the last few years - mega movie stars are falling all over themselves to try and ge...

'House Of Cards' Season 2: Even Better Than Season 1

2/25/2014 7:28pm EST
House of Cards
I saw the second season of House of Cards over the weekend - thanks to Netflix seamless streaming - and loved it. It's better than the first, which is saying a lot, because the first was outstanding, too.

Spoilers galore follow.

Among the highlights

Frank's killing of Zoe at the end of the first episode - not only a stunning bolt from the blue, but thoroughly plausible given what we saw of Frank last year. The killing also had the virtue of getting Zoe off the show - her relationships with Frank last year was the least believable part of the first season. Later on in the second seas...

2013 Emmy Awards Predictions: Who Are The Favorites To Win?

2013 Emmy Awards Predictions

It’s been a while since we’ve had such a wild card Emmy season. Last year, Homeland was all but a lock in each of its major categories, but after a shaky second season, some strong competition from other long-running shows, and a buzzworthy new Netflix series, things are really up in the air pretty much all over the place. Still, I’ll do my best to make some predictions in the big categories. Just remember: This year, pretty much anything goes.

Breaking Bad
Downton Abbey
Game of Thrones
House of Cards
Mad Men

While I’d love to see Game of Thrones’ confident t...

House of Cards
Yesterday marked a very interesting day in the world of television and entertainment when the nominations for the 2013 Emmys were announced.

Yes, that glorious time of anticipation and excitement that TV junkies live for, all of which took place while I was on my commute. So, I did what any responsible person who needs to keep their job would do, I turned to social media. Once the complaints against morning television subsided, I began to notice a very interesting trend. No, I am not talking about the insanely talented Andrew Lincoln's lack of a nomination; I'm talking about the increasing...

J.K. Rowling is furious over the recent leak of her secret pen name. Despite the leak instantaneously sending her latest novel, "The Cuckoo's Calling" -- written under the name Robert Galbraith -- to the top of the best seller list, the "Harry Potter" author is upset with the law firm who leaked the information. Apparently one of the partners in the British firm Russels told his wife's friend the secret and she posted it to twitter. Horror author Stephen King praised Rowling using a nom-de-plume, but also said that based on his own experiences in using the name Richard Bachman for several o...
