Lauren Conrad and Heidi Montag's friendship continues to crumble in Season 3 after Heidi moves in with Lauren's nemesis, Spencer Pratt. Their feud peaks when sex-tape rumors about Lauren spread, and she suspects Spencer is behind them. Heidi denies his involvement and tries in vain to patch things up with her former BFF, but Lauren makes it clear that they won't be friends as long as Heidi's dating Spencer. So the friendship appears to be doomed when Spencer proposes and Heidi accepts. She dreams of a big white wedding, but Spencer persuades her to elope during a tequila-soaked sojourn to Mexico. In other relationship news, Audrina Patridge's on-again, off-again relationship with }Justin Brescia} continues to be a roller-coaster ride. When she catches him locking lips with another girl, she swears it's over for good. But time tells otherwise. Lauren and Brody Jenner continue their flirty relationship, but ultimately decide they're better off as friends. And Lauren's ex Jason Wahler reappears fresh from rehab with some surprising news: he's engaged. On the career front, Lauren continues her classes at FIDM, where she strikes up an unlikely friendship with Spencer's sister, Stephanie. Whitney Port decides to move on from Teen Vogue and lands a job with Kelly Cutrone, owner of a powerhouse fashion firm. And Heidi gets promoted at Bolthouse.
