CBS, ABC and NBC just announced their schedules for November sweeps. During "sweeps," Nielsen Media Research sends out diaries to sample homes across the country so TV viewers can record the shows they watched. Based on these results, networks set their advertising rates. The more people watch a show, the more they can charge for the commercials during it.

ABC's Help Me Help You, The Nine and Men in Trees and NBC's Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip have received orders for additional scripts, according to the Hollywood Reporter. The ABC shows have been picked up for four more scripts, while "Studio 60" has been given an order for three.

So far this year, only five freshman series -- NBC's Heroes, CBS' Jericho and "Shark," and ABC's Ugly Betty and Brothers & Sisters -- have been given full-season orders.

Picking up on the day after last season's Gilmore Girls finale, Lorelai wakes up in bed with Christopher. Confused and mortified, she makes a hasty exit, ignoring Christopher's pleas that she stay. The TV season launches early this year when FOX kicks off season two of Prison Break in the tail end of August. The network is digging its heels in early with several August premieres, including Bones, House and a handful of new series. ABC, CBS, NBC and the new CW get in the game by mid-September.

Ted Danson has refused to dye his locks for his latest sitcom and is revealing his real hair for the first time on TV. The veteran star is returning to TV in the show Help Me Help You, in which he plays a therapist whose life is a shambles.

The star wore a hairpiece through much of the filming of Cheers and dyed his hair for his TV show Becker. This time around he is proudly sporting his real hair, which is all-grey and thinning.

He explains, "I'm out of the closet. I'm tired of sitting around with a bunch of ladies with aluminum on my head getting a dye job!"

ABC just announced its fall premiere dates. For the fall launch, ABC will be using the strength of its returning hits as a launching pad for new series. Kicking off the new season is Dancing with the Stars. The dates are as follows:
