The teams face another challenge in their quest to win the competition. In the end, an injured Ji is eliminated from the contest.
13 Chefs Compete
The teams get a quick lesson about real teamwork when 50 hungry kids from a local youth football and cheerleading program invade Hell's Kitchen. While the chefs race to feed their customers, one team runs out of eggs and the whole operation starts to go downhill.
7 Chefs Compete
Tensions run high as the remaining chefs join forces to form one team. During the individual challenge, each chef must use fourteen simple ingredients to create a phenomenal dish to impress Chef Ramsay. The winner receives the "best reward" seen in Hell's Kitchen thus far, while the losers endure a painful physical punishment. In order to personally outshine the other competitors, chefs must work well as teammates during the heated dinner service that sends one chef to the medic.
16 Chefs Compete
Sixteen contestants are sent to the kitchen to make a signature dish. Gordon is surprised with what he sees, until one contestant puts him in a bad mood. One chef will win the grand prize, a "Head Chef" position at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa. In the end, Wil is the first to be eliminated from the competition.
14 Chefs Compete
Chef Ramsay sends the contestants on a field trip to a meat locker to learn the different cuts of beef. Later, the contestants turn the restaurant into a steak house, and race to impress the judges.
6 Chefs Compete
For some added motivation and a little bit of excitement, Chef Ramsay sends the remaining chefs to the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City, NJ, where one of them will receive a head chef position. After a nice relaxing trip, they are back in Hell's Kitchen, and Chef Ramsay asks them to create a unique signature dish that they would serve in their restaurant.
9 Chefs Compete
Chef Ramsay puts the team's palates to the test in a surprise taste-test challenge. During dinner service in a packed restaurant, tensions always run high. However, when a few celebrities stop by for dinner the intensity really heats up. Lacey is sent home in the middle of service. After the red team loses service, L.A. is eliminated.
12 Chefs Compete
After sending the chefs to an Asian market, Chef Ramsay challenges them to create three Asian-fusion dishes utilizing poultry, seafood and beef. The teams then present their dishes for judging by Chef Ramsay and Tanya Steel, Editor-in-Chief of Epicurious.com. The following night, the teams go head-to-head at dinner service, and tensions run high as chefs from both teams crack under pressure. Chef Ramsay throws in a last-minute twist before sending the losing chef home.
11 Chefs Compete
Teams feel the heat when Chef Ramsay challenges them to prepare food for a bar mitzvah. Each team must prepare fine dining versions of the guest of honor's three favorite dishes. Although the chefs perform one of their best services yet, the intensity of Hell's Kitchen keeps dinner from being perfect.
3 Chefs Compete
The final 3 chefs, Andrea, Paula, and Danny, receive surprise visits from family members. The 3 chefs prepare a meal for 100 of the finest chefs and owners from restaurants across Los Angeles. Danny's dish is chosen as worst of the group, and Paula's wins. While Paula is whisked off to be pampered for the day and appear on "Good Day LA," Danny and Andrea are forced to clean, reset and iron all the linens in the dining room. Andrea is eliminated from the competition.
5 Chefs Compete
After Chef Ramsay prepares three delicious dishes for the remaining chefs to enjoy, he announces the "taste it, now make it" challenge. In this challenge, the chefs must recreate the dishes they just ate. The winner receives an afternoon with Gordon while the losers are forced to clean up Hell's Kitchen by hand. A surprise proposal is planned during the dessert course of the dinner service, so the pressure is on to ensure Chef Ramsay doesn't shut the kitchen down before he pops the question!
8 Chefs Compete
When each team member is responsible for creating a dish made with King Crab, each team must choose the strongest plate to present to Chef Gordon Ramsay. During the dinner service, both teams are given a chance to display creativity and specialty by creating their own menus. However, crippling inconsistencies and team sabotages contribute to the blue team losing, and Carol is eliminated.
10 Chefs Compete
Chef Ramsay introduces the team to the latest culinary trend of small-plate, or tapas-style, dining and asks them to transform a day's leftovers into perfectly portioned delectable dishes. At dinner service, one chef's mistake nearly sabotages both teams' performances, and a lack of unity in the Blue Team leaves Gordon furious.
Chef Ramsay offers Danny and Paula some encouraging words of advice before they go head-to-head in the final dinner service. Creativity, consistency, determination and patience are key ingredients both chefs need in order to win Hell's Kitchen and receive a "Head Chef" position at the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City, NJ. Neither chef made a big mistake during the dinner service; Danny wins the competition.
2 Chefs Compete
Danny and Paula start designing and planning their restaurants by working with an architect to create their own spaces for the final dinner service. Chef Ramsay then surprises the finalists with another trip to the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City, NJ. Upon arrival, they are thrown into a challenge in which they must impress the Borgata's Chief Operating Officer with their potential restaurant menus. They are paid a visit from contestants who have left the competition.
