Derek severely injured his hand (bad news for a surgeon), and sadly, Meredith's half-sister Lexie (Chyler Leight) died. Also, Teddy (Kim Raver) left Seattle Grace for a new job.

So what's going to happ...

Amanda Leighton: 'I've Had Some Really Good Luck With TV'

Amanda Leighton
It's always the nice ones that end up playing the best villains on TV. Amanda Leighton, who recently played the scheming Wendy Capshaw in the third and final season of ABC Family's Make It or Break It, is much sweeter than her fictional alter-ego.

"I'm not that bad. I'm not peppy like Wendy in real life," she said with a laugh during a recent chat, but added, "I've got a bit of an edge to me."

Make It or Break It wasn't Amanda's only TV role; she's had quite a few small-screen parts, including shows like Grey's Anatomy, Criminal Minds, Six Feet Under and another ABC Family series, Prett...

TV Report Card: Grading 10 Season Finales

Revenge Cast
Season finales are essentially the Hollywood version of final exams. They have to shock and awe and entice viewers into returning after four arduous months of dead air. From births and deaths to break-ups and OMG-worthy shockers, I’m grading 10 season finales. The SPOILER ALERT is implied.

Reckoning, Revenge’s thrilling season ender saw Emily Thorne (Emily VanCamp) not only confront her father’s killer in a satisfying and strangely sweet final fight, but surrender to her feelings for ruggedly handsome bartender, Jack. It wouldn’t be “Revenge” without infuriating twists and double-c...

'Grey's Anatomy' Season 8 Finale: Who Died?

Greyl's Anatomy
Who would have thought "Grey's Anatomy" writers could top the episode where George died after being run over by a bus? Or the episode where a shooter rampaged Seattle Grace Hospital? Well, they topped those episodes. Easily. (Warning: serious spoilers ahead.)

The season eight finale began with several of the doctors dazed, confused, and seriously injured after their plane crashed in the woods. A very pale and gray faced Meredith pulled a large sliver out of her leg before beginning the hunt for her husband Derek, who Cristina (with a serious shoulder injury) said was sucked out of the side...

In any given TV week, a TV network could make it sound like they trumped everyone else, that they had something to be proud of. This week, all four major networks could actually mean it.

While the top shows were an also-ran (yep, ‘American Idol’ is perched on top, with ‘The Voice’ close behind and boasting its 18-49 demo), every network had a Top 20 show. NBC didn’t have one besides ‘The Voice,’ but every other network had multiple shows. And that doesn’t happen much these days.

FOX had both weekly editions of ‘American Idol’ as well as Keifer Sutherland’s ‘Touch' (Number 19); CBS had its...

As doctors, and especially as surgeons, our favorite residents are always calculating. Calculating the risks and calculating the advantages, weighing all their options scientifically and rarely, emotionally. Or so they would like to think. Truth is, even the best surgeons have emotions. They’re human, it’s natural. On the latest episode of Grey’s, that nature was put to the test.

For some, it was more lighthearted and playful. Avery, Mr. Eye of the tiger with boards coming up, was a little stressed out, snapping at paramedics and even at patients. Noticing his ‘bro’ might need a little, ...

She then infuriated a number of her TV co-stars soon afterwards by insisting she didn't deserve an Emmy Award for her work on "Grey's Anatomy" because her character "had no material worthy to submit."

Heigl's publicist worked overtime to repair the damage the comments had done to her reputation, but when the actress ...

(We would have had a full-on “Hits” category, but there are certainly no runaways so far.) FOX’s ‘New Girl’ can be deemed a first-season success. The Zooey Deschanel comedy was the first fall series to earn a full season pickup, and for good reason: Its ratings are better than lead-in ‘Glee’ and it’s frequently tops on Tuesdays in 18-49.
