The Rite Leads Slow Box Office Weekend
The exorcism thriller The Rite topped a slow weekend at the movies, Box Office Mojo reports.
The film starring Anthony Hopkins nabbed $15 million in its first week. Last week's No. 1, No Strings Attached, fell to second with an estimated $13.7 million.

Seth Rogen Gets Engaged
"Knocked Up" star Seth Rogen has proposed to his longtime girlfriend.
The actor has been dating writer/actress Lauren Miller since 2004. Both are 28.
A source close to the couple tells Life & Style magazine, "He surprised her with the proposal. She'd started giving up hope that he would ever pop the question."
Rogen is sure to be one happy man - he previously stated, "I have a girlfriend who is far prettier than I should have."

Actor Christoph Waltz's Sunday night Oscar win was bittersweet for the Austrian - because it came at the beginning of the week he'll have to give up his rented Hollywood home.

Seth Rogen's superhero movie The Green Hornet is facing another setback - the film is without a villain after Nicolas Cage scrapped plans to appear in the blockbuster.
Cage was in talks to take on the role of the Hornet's arch-enemy Mr. X, but has walked away from the project following a disagreement with studio bosses over his deal, according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Funnyman Seth Rogen's debut as a masked crime fighter in upcoming superhero movie The Green Hornet has been delayed for a second time, following more production setbacks.
French filmmaker Michel Gondry stepped in to take charge of the comic book movie in July, replacing director Stephen Chow.
Shooting is now set to begin this week and Sony bosses have confirmed the late licensing has forced another delay, reports Daily Variety.
The Green Hornet is now set to hit theaters in the U.S. in December 2010 - five months later than its last slated release.

Nicolas Cage, Cameron Diaz Vie For 'Green Hornet' Roles
Nicolas Cage is in early talks to play a villain in "The Green Hornet," according to Variety.com. Cameron Diaz is also in negotiations to play a reporter in the film.
Seth Rogen is playing the title character, and the search is still on for an actor to play sidekick Kato. Stephen Chow was originally slated for the role.
Filming is expected to start this fall and be released next summer.

Columbia Pictures has optioned the rights to The Green Hornet, the classic crime-fighting hero whose adventures were chronicled over the generations on radio, television, and in comic books. The studio will adapt "The Green Hornet" into a feature film.
