Only Rory (Alexis Bledel) is willing to show up for the first Friday Night Dinner after Richard (Edward Herrmann) and Emily's second honeymoon. Still mad at her mother, Emily (Kelly Bishop), Lorelei (Lauren Graham) bypasses the dinner in favor of a get-together with Sookie (Melissa McCarthy). Meanwhile, Luke (Scott Patterson) continues to pine away for Lorelai -- and his customers at the diner suffer mightily.
