It is no secret that Frasier Crane (Kelsey Grammer) does not share the same tastes as his father, Martin (John Mahoney). This is especially true in matters of art, wherein the differences between father and son can be pithily summed up as "One man's treasure is another man's trash." Unfortunately, Martin has chosen a particularly hideous painting as a present for Frasier -- who, having "suggested" that he is happy with the gift, must figure out a way to avoid hurting his dad's feelings without actually having to hang the monstrosity in his apartment.
