Sixteen years ago we were first introduced to Melrose Place, an innocent (at least it started that way) spin-off of Beverly Hills, 90210 that took place in a West Hollywood apartment complex. I know as an 8-year-old boy I was excited to see what the lives of 20-something people would be like.

The new year is usually a time of reflection and resolutions. Instead of reflecting on the past TV season, we make the following wishes for the coming year, some more attainable than others.

It's been a bumpy television season full of winners, disappointments and a lot of forgetful folks. Some shows stumbled right out of the gate while others took steady steps towards a full-season pickup.
