A Very Merry Extreme Makeover: Home Edition Christmas
The holiday season can tend to bring the best and the worst of people, between the stresses of getting the “perfect gift” and the downward plunge your bank account takes, of course. What some forget is the true meaning of the holidays, and that is to participate in spirit of giving, helping and not simply receiving. Christmas is all about reaching out for the greater good and people partake in many ways, whether it be lending a helping hand, charitable work, or in some cases – changing someone’s life.

Remote Control Battle: TV Both Men And Women May Enjoy Together
A Woman's Perspective: Remember when sitcoms used to make jokes about how men and women watch television differently? The sloppy, somewhat aloof husband character would always be zooming through the channels, flicking the remote faster than his perky, pretty, younger wife could keep up. She'd then snatch the remote and pause on each channel achingly slowly, narrating not only what was occurring in the scene on screen but also what she hoped or thought would occur next.
Not only did men and women watch differently, though, what they watched was always assumed to be different. Men had the...

ABC Stresses Stability, Not Ingenuity, With 2008-09 Schedule
NBC got a jump start on the other broadcast networks with its "in-front" presentation last month, which occurred a full six weeks before the traditional upfront period. At that time NBC, mired in last place amongst the Big Four (poor CW barely registers as a blip and therefore does not count), presented a bold, dynamic and risky 2008-09 year-round schedule.
In the weeks that followed, there was naturally some speculation as to whether or not the other networks would follow NBC's lead and change the rules of the game. ABC, which unveiled its 2008-09 plans yesterday, was the first to...
