'Dukes Of Hazzard' Sheriff Settles With Warner Bros. Over Merchandise Money
The actor who played the inept sheriff in hit TV series The Dukes Of Hazzard has settled a legal battle with Warner Bros. executives over merchandising revenue.
James Best, who played Sheriff Rosco P. Coltrane in the show, sued Warner Bros. bosses back in August 2011, claiming he was owed millions of dollars from the show's merchandise, including watches, shoes and cars bearing his likeness.
The case went to court in North Carolina this month and according to TheWrap.com, Best has now settled the matter for an undisclosed sum.

Catherine Bach's Husband Dies From Apparent Suicide
Actress Catherine Bach's husband has been found dead in Los Angeles, according to TMZ.com.
Peter Lopez, who was one of Michael Jackson's music attorneys, was found after paramedics responded to a report of a shooting at his Encino home at approximately 11:30 a.m. local time on Friday.
Police sources report Lopez's death is being investigated as an apparent suicide.
Bach, who is best-known for her role as Daisy Duke on TV series "The Dukes of Hazzard," married Lopez in 1990.
The couple shares two children.
