Dragnet was a popular 1950s crime drama about Sgt. Joe Friday (<a href="/Actors/Webb,_Jack/">Jack Webb</a>) and his partners who investigated crimes in Los Angeles. The series also aired in the 1960s with Webb as the lead actor. In 1989 and 2003 the show was reinvented, but if failed both times.<br>
