Diagnosis Murder centered on Dr. Mark Sloan (Dick Van Dyke), a doctor who is also a consultant for the local police. His son Steve Sloan (Barry Van Dyke) is a detective. The father and son work with ER resident Dr. Jesse Travis (Charlie Schlatter) and Dr. Amanda Bentley (Victoria Rowell) to solve crimes. The series aired from 1993 to 2001.
