In 1997, Dharma & Greg launched Jenna Elfman to stardom. A movie career and syndication followed. Now it's time to try again. After some TV guest spots and short-lived projects that didn't quite go all the way, Elfman thinks she's found a winner with the new CBS sitcom Accidentally on Purpose.

Former Dharma & Greg star Jenna Elfman is returning to TV on the CBS series "Accidentally on Purpose." She will play Billie, a single woman who finds herself "accidentally" pregnant after a one-night stand with a much younger guy, and she decides to keep the baby... and the guy.

Jenna has really been off the radar since she starred in Keeping The Faith in 2000 with Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson and "Dharma & Greg" ended in 2002.

Ashley Jensen To Leave 'Ugly Betty'

Ashley Jensen is walking away from her regular role on Ugly Betty to play Jenna Elfman's best friend in another sitcom.

Jensen, who plays Christina on the hit show, will quit "Ugly Betty" at the end of the current season so she can take a role in Elfman's "Accidentally on Purpose," in which the former Dharma And Greg star plays a movie critic who finds herself pregnant.

Jenna Elfman & Susan Sullivan To Guest Star On 'Brothers & Sisters'

Former Dharma & Greg in-laws Jenna Elfman and Susan Sullivan will play mother and daughter from the Walkers lifelong nemesis family, in special guest starring roles in the episode entitled "Game Night" (airing April 15), on ABC's hit freshman drama series, Brothers & Sisters.

Elfman plays the pregnant Lizzie Jones-Baker and Sullivan is Miranda Jones. In the episode, the Walkers challenge the Jones family to a long overdue family game night rematch and invite Rebecca to play along.

Jenna Elfman Is Expecting A Boy

Actress Jenna Elfman has announced she's expecting a baby boy with her husband Bodhi. The couple revealed the happy news in January but refused to name the sex of their firstborn.

But the former Dharma & Greg star broke the news while promoting her guest spot on an upcoming episode of TV drama Brothers & Sisters.
