Designing Women focused on Julia Sugarbaker (Dixie Carter) and the interior design firm she runs out of her Atlanta, Ga., home. She works with her ex-beauty queen sister Suzanne (Delta Burke), divorced mother Mary Jo (Annie Potts), and naïve country girl Charlene (Jean Smart). The series aired from 1986 until 1993.
