'Degrassi' Star Luke Bilyk On Drew's Tumultuous Season 13
While Degrassi is on its whopping 13th season, the Canadian teen drama isn't slowing down at all. BFTV recently chatted with our old friend Luke Bilyk, whose character Drew Torres seems to be in the thick of things this season, about Drew's difficult year and what it's like for an actor to get bad news for their alter-ego. SPOILER ALERT: This interview reveals major plot points from the current season of Degrassi.

"This last season has been a bit of a rollercoaster for Drew," Luke told us. "One of the hugest things is his brother [Adam] passing away; he has an accident where he's texting a...

A Few Minutes With... 'Degrassi: The Next Generation' Star Alex Steele

10/18/2012 9:00am EDT
Alex Steele
Alex Steele has experienced something that not many television actors ever do, outside of perhaps the soap opera genre - she has played two different roles on the same television series. She first appeared on Degrassi: The Next Generation as Angela Jeremiah, and now is one of the show's stars in the role of Tori Santamaria. Alex recently talked about what it's like to play two different parts on one series - and being part of a show that's shot over three hundred episodes.

"I played Angela when I was a kid and then I stopped acting for a little while," she explained. "Then I decide...

Marianas Trench
You may not have heard of Canadian pop-punk rockers Marianas Trench, but you should remember their name. After enjoying plenty of success in their native country - they garnered three MuchMusic Video Award nominations this year - they're on their way to take the United States by storm.

They've appeared as themselves on ABC Family's Kyle XY, and their music has been heard on the CW hit The Vampire Diaries (the song "Cross My Heart" was included in season 1) and Degrassi: The Next Generation.

As the band prepares to release their third album, Ever After (set for November 29), and head...

Prom season has begun and there's much speculation about what some TV dramas are planning for their prom-themed episodes. There's also rumors Rebecca Black will guest star herself. This "Glee" prom episode may turn out to be horrendous for some, but will be memorable to others. Likewise, there have been many TV shows in the past that have provided us with dramatic and romantic prom-themed moments. Here's a countdown of the bes...

Rapper Drake is eager to return to his acting roots to portray President Barack Obama on the big screen.

However, Drake admits he's keeping an eye on potential acting projects documenting the life of America's first black president - because he's been studying Obama's behavior and speech patterns from the news.

He tells Paper magazine, "I hope somebody makes a movie about Obama's life soon because I could p...

Check Out 'Vampire Diaries' This Thursday On The CW

9/9/2009 10:53am EDT
The Vampire Diaries
Has anyone else noticed that vampires are getting very, very trendy? There was a time in the 90s when Anne Rice's "Interview With the Vampire" came out and that inspired some great new versions of the old monster tale. Then there was "Buffy The Vampire Slayer" that brought pop culture and vampire horror together in a hilarious high school drama kind of way, and that show's spin off "Angel" continued the legacy.

Lately vampires have been booming in a big way thanks to "Twilight" and "True Blood," and now there's a new series coming to the CW for vamp-fans to salivate over. "The Vampire D...
