An ABC spokesperson informed TV Guide of the online return dates for all 13 episodes of the Taye Diggs-starring Day Break. The schedule is as follows:

• Episodes 101 through 107: Jan. 29

• Unaired episodes 108, 109 and 110: by Jan. 29

• Episode 111: Feb. 5

• Episode 112: Feb. 11

• Episode 113 (series finale): Feb. 19

The show centers on Detective Brett Hopper (Taye Diggs), who is having one of those hellacious days where nothing is going his way ... only he can't put it behind him because he's living the same day over and over again.

ABC To Feature Unaired 'Lost' Footage During 'Day Break' & Online

To keep Lost fans enticed until the second half of the season premieres in February 2007, ABC and ABC.com will feature "Lost Moments." Beginning Wednesday, Nov. 15, the first "Lost Moment" will premiere randomly during the new drama Day Break. Comprised of 30 seconds of never-before-seen footage of upcoming episodes, there will be a total of 12 "Lost Moments," one during each airing of "Day Break." After "Day Break" the "Lost Moments" will be available on ABC.com.

Networks Announce Sweeps Schedule for Nov. 1-29

CBS, ABC and NBC just announced their schedules for November sweeps. During "sweeps," Nielsen Media Research sends out diaries to sample homes across the country so TV viewers can record the shows they watched. Based on these results, networks set their advertising rates. The more people watch a show, the more they can charge for the commercials during it.

NAACP Points Out Lack of Diversity on TV

According to the NAACP, with the cancellation of the Bernie Mac Show, for the first time in recent history, there is not a comedy with an African-American lead character left on the big four networks. When it comes to returning sitcoms and the announced new comedies, African Americans are missing in action.

While the genre is not as popular as it once was, there is not a shortage of sitcoms on the schedule. Out of the nearly 20 sitcoms on network television this fall, it is unconscionable that there is not an African American lead among them.
