The Finals Arrive On 'Dancing With The Stars'

The three remaining couples on “Dancing with the Stars” have reached the finals; with only three dances standing between them and the new mirror ball trophy. This season the finals make history with all of the finalists being women.

Round one of the finals is a dancer’s favorite choice, round two is the super sized freestyle, and round three is the instant dance on night two of the grand finale.

On the “Dancing with the Stars” semi finals results show the three finalists were revealed in a performance filled night.

After the encore performance of a Rumba to “Man in the Mirror” from Apolo and Karina; host Tom Bergeron revealed the names of the first couple to make it in the finals – Shawn and Derek.

New Zealander Paris Goebel performed with her troupe in a dance style that she created along with the team. Paris also opened her own dance school. British boy band The Wanted performed a medley of “Glad You Came” and “I Found You”.

This week results night on “Dancing with the Stars” saw two couples eliminated from the competition in a performance filled night of song and dance.

After Kylie Minogue opened the show, with a little help from the DWTS Troupe, Kym Johnson, and Tristan MacManus, in a performance of “The Locomotion”; Melissa and Tony and Shawn and Derek learned that they were safe and moving on to the semi finals.

This week on “Dancing with the Stars” the seven remaining couples had to perform two complete dances, one of which was a salute to Veteran’s Day and the other a trio dance. With no eliminations last week the scores and votes will be added to this week and two couples will be eliminated one week before the semi finals.

It’s week seven on “Dancing with the Stars” and the two dance nights continue with a fusion dance and a dance marathon that will test the endurance of the couples.

After the pros and the DWTS Troupe demonstrate the dance fusion with five dances the competition begins with Apolo and Karina dancing a Cha Cha and a Paso Doble. Bristol Palin’s baby daddy has been asked to follow in the footsteps of his ex-girlfriend and join the highly-rated talent competition, says Levi’s new wife, Sunny Johnston.

Sunny tells RumorFix exclusively, Levi turned it down because, “He wants out of the media.”

Results night on “Dancing with the Stars” brought twists and shocking revelations for celebrities, pro dancers, and fans on week six of the dancing reality competition.

After an encore performance of a Viennese Waltz by Apolo Anton Ohno and Karina Smirnoff, host Tom Bergeron announced the first results. The lowest scoring couple of Emmitt and Cheryl are safe. They were joined by the second lowest scoring couple Kelly and Valentin.

The trends of the TV season are continuing in the ratings: In the fourth week, CBS was tops among total viewers, with 10.33 million. NBC, while third in total viewers with 7.49 million, managed to win the 18-49 demo for the fourth straight week, still its best showing in a decade.

Melissa Rycroft was hospitalized on Sunday after suffering head and neck injuries while rehearsing for Dancing With The Stars.

The reality TV star is one of the eight remaining contestants battling it out to win the all-star version of the hit ballroom contest, and was practicing her routine with professional partner Tony Dovolani when she was hurt.
