Dance Moms star Abby Lee Miller could face up to five years in prison and some hefty fines after being indicted for bankruptcy fraud. According to People, she hid more than $775,000 in secret accounts and made false claims about her income, something the reality star said she did to save her dance studio.

Her lawyer, Robert Ridge tells People that Miller, 50, has not pleaded yet, but she has been charged with bankruptcy fraud, false bankruptcy declarations and concealment of bankruptcy assets.

Ridge goes on to say that when she entered into bankruptcy in 2010, she paid all of her creditor...

'Dance Moms' Star Abby Lee Miller Talks Weight Loss, Dropping Fr
Abby Lee Miller, the dance instructor and choreographer on reality show "Dance Moms," dropped a bunch of pounds recently, but she didn't do it via weight-loss surgery, tons of exercise or crazy dieting. In fact, her method was quite unusual (and not recommended).

She refuted rumors that she had a lap-band procedure, telling People, "That would have been easy."

Instead, the weight loss was a bit accidental. Miller's mom was hospitalized for colon cancer and, "When you're in and out of the hospital, that hospital food just makes you sick. I think it was a little bit mental with me," she exp...

Abby Lee Miller On Guest Judging 'Dancing With The Stars'
The newest Dancing with the Stars guest judge is a familiar face to anyone who watches dance on TV: she's Abby Lee Miller, founder of the Abby Lee Dance Company and star of Lifetime's Dance Moms and Abby's Ultimate Dance Competition. In anticipation of Abby Lee taking the third judge's chair tonight, BFTV asked her a few questions Friday about what we can expect from her on DWTS.

"Dancing with the Stars was trying to get me to be a contestant for two consecutive seasons," she revealed. "And I guess I mentioned at one point, well, I'm really not interested in being a contestant right now, b...

A Few Minutes With... 'Dance Moms' Star Chloe Lukasiak

11/18/2012 10:00am EST
Chloe Lukasiak
Dance Moms is one of Lifetime's most popular series - but what's it like for the young ladies of the Abby Lee Dance Company to be on TV? I sat down with star Chloe Lukasiak to ask her how the TV show has changed her life.

"I guess I thought it would be cool," she said, explaining how she came to be on television. "We just went through the process step by step so it wasn't like 'I'm going to be on TV!'. It was a long process."

Life as Chloe knows it hasn't changed drastically since the show's beginnings two seasons ago. "I go to regular school and then dance class after around four. When...

Reality TV Shows That Are Leading To The Downfall Of Humanity

Reality TV Shows That Are Leading To The Downfall Of Humanity
Recently, Lifetime's reality TV series "Dance Moms" sparked controversy with its latest episode involving child dancers performing sexually provocative dance routines in flesh-colored bra and panty costumes that simulate nudity. To make matters worse, the episode was entitled, "Topless Showgirls." Reality shows like this are the reason why our civilization is sinking further and further into a deep dark hole. These shows are setting bad examples on how we should live our lives and are promoting trashy, classless, and irresponsible behavior. The "Jersey Shore" has already given humanity a ma...

Three Blush Worthy TV Guilty Pleasures

Mob Wives
TV is one of my favorite pastimes, slightly bordering on addiction, depending on who you ask. While some are a little off beat, others are downright embarrassing to admit to.

'Mob Wives': Let’s start here. As a huge fan of the ‘Real Housewives’ series, I was a bit ticked off when I began to see the growing list, of what I perceived were knock off series. After several ‘glowing’ Facebook and Twitter ‘recommendations,’ I reluctantly gave in. In the first five minutes it was over. Call ‘Intervention,’ it's bad. If you thought ‘Real Housewives’ had fights, you haven’t seen anything yet! Thes...

Katherine Heigl Horrified By Stripper-Like Little Girls In 'Dance Moms'

2/1/2012 9:56am EST
Katherine Heigl
Katherine Heigl has taken aim at reality TV show "Dance Moms," insisting she was "horrified" to see young girls writhing like strippers in the program.

The star, who is mother to an adopted daughter called Naleigh, has written a blog about the importance of self-esteem for and she singles out the show as an example of how young females are "demeaned" and "berated" over their looks.

"Dance Moms" follows a group of mothers and children eager to pursue a career in showbusiness, and Heigl is adamant such coaching is bad for young girls.

She writes, "I'm not much of a reality TV ...

Q&A: Abby Lee Miller of Lifetime's 'Dance Moms'

10/6/2011 2:07pm EDT
Dance Moms
My colleague Lisa Siegfried recently spoke with Abby Lee Miller of Lifetime's Dance Moms, which just aired its finale last night. The show follows Abby Lee, several of her dancers, and of course, their parents - which is sometimes a recipe for difficulty.

Here are some of Abby's thoughts on the high-pressure world of youth dance.

What, in your opinion, makes the perfect “Dance Mom”? How involved is she, what kind of demeanor does she have, what are the most important traits she needs to possess?

The perfect dance mom would be respectful, thoughtful, doesn’t offer suggestions but i...
