Larry argues with Susie and Richard Lewis over condolences, confronts a pair of "sample abusers" at an ice-cream parlor and a perfumery, and is accused of pinching flowers by Marty Funkhouser.
The Bat Mitzvah
An upcoming Bat Mitzvah provides Larry with an opportunity to clear up his recent domestic travails - as well as some nasty rumors.
Larry gets advice from his therapist on how to win Cheryl back, but when that backfires, Larry decides to convince Cheryl's therapist that he's a good guy, so he stages a purse snatching so that he can rescue the therapist. She falls for Larry and tells Cheryl never to see him again, so Larry tells the therapist he has Alzheimer's and she changes her mind and tells Cheryl to go back to Larry. However, right after Cheryl agrees to move back in, her therapist learns that Larry was scamming them and calls Cheryl.
The Tivo Guy
Larry has the TiVo guy come out. Cheryl calls from the airplane where she is experiencing turbulence while the Tivo guy is over and Larry hangs up on her. She returns and tells Larry she's leaving.
The Anonymous Donor
The Davids and the Blacks move into a new house, and take in a new guest. Larry learns that Jeff masturbated in Larry's house. When Cheryl finds out she bans Jeff from their home and then when Jeff's wife finds out she bans Larry from thier house. When Larry learns that Ted Danson made an anonymous donation he is upset that it makes him look bad since he used his name. Meanwhile, Larry's new houseguest gets back a jersey Larry lost at the drycleaners.
The Rat Dog
Larry gives Leon some advice for his job interview, but then when the employer calls to offer the job, Larry has Leon's phone and thinks it's a telemarketer and tells the guy off. Meanwhile, Cheryl is sick and she wants Larry to get someone to go to Keisha's performance. Larry gets his father a "happy ending" massage. Loretta has a job interview, but doesn't get the job because Larry delivers her to the interview an hour late. Larry gets in trouble with Hal by offended him and his wife.
The N Word
Larry offends Auntie Rae when he hugs her and she can feel his erection. Larry promises Leon he'll go on a date so that he's not starving for affection. He goes on a date with Dr. Sheila Fromm. Meanwhile, Jeff is excited about possibly signing Ben Stiller as a client. Larry relays a story about a man he overheard in the restroom using the N word which sets off a chain reaction of people getting offended resulting in Larry's prescription getting switched and Jeff's head getting shaved in surgery.
The Freak Book
Larry gets irritated by a book he starts flipping through while waiting for Cheryl to go to Ted's birthday party. Then he runs into more trouble with the limo driver.
Meet the Blacks
Cheryl talks Larry into adopting the Blacks, a family displaced by a hurricane; Larry invents the "perfect" excuse for missing a pair of parties.
The Lefty Call / The Bathroom Monitor
Larry regrets getting Richard Lewis' girlfriend, Cha Cha a job near the office bathroom; a waiter is doomed by a doggy-bag dispute; and Larry proves inept at "talking lefty."
