TNT Renews 'Southland' For Third Season
TNT has booked a third season of its critically acclaimed drama "Southland." The network has ordered 10 episodes for the third season, which is slated to begin airing in January 2011.
Created by Emmy winner Ann Biderman (NYPD Blue, Public Enemies), "Southland" takes a raw, authentic look at police work in Los Angeles. The series focuses on officers, detectives and members of a gang unit as they endure the triumphs and tragedies that populate their lives both on and off the job. 'Studio 60 On The Sunset Strip' Closes For Matthew Perry
Matthew Perry's TV fortunes have taken a dive - the former Friends star's acclaimed new show has been axed. Bosses at NBC put Studio 60 on The Sunset Strip on hold earlier this year after the series, which also featured former West Wing star Bradley Whitford and Amanda Peet, failed to set the ratings alight when it debuted last year.
TV bosses will replace the drama and another axed series, Crossing Jordan, with a new Heroes spin-off and The Bionic Woman remake, which will star British actress Michelle Ryan.

'Crossing Jordan' Shifts to Wednesday; 'Deal' Moves to Sunday
NBC is adjusting its late-winter primetime schedule by moving "Deal or No Deal" to Sundays (9-10 p.m. ET) followed by The Apprentice: Los Angeles (10-11 p.m. ET) beginning Sunday, March 4. Crossing Jordan (currently Sundays, 10-11 p.m. ET) shifts to Wednesdays (9-10 p.m. ET) beginning March 7.

One contestant will battle "the mob" of 100 others in an attempt to win $1 million in NBC's newest international game show import 1 vs 100, premiering its five-week run on Friday, October 13 (9 p.m. ET). Following the series premiere, "1 vs 100" will air in its regular time slot on Fridays at 8 p.m. beginning October 20, leading into the return of Las Vegas (9 p.m. ET). As a result, Crossing Jordan will rejoin the NBC schedule at a date to be announced later.
