Our Favorite TV Nerds
There are two types of TV nerds, the first comprise many of the Starpulse staff, geeks totally in love with TV. Our biggest conundrums tend to revolve around choosing whether to DVR Bones on Monday or just pay for it on iTunes because Greek and The Big Bang Theory are already set to be recorded.
The second type of TV nerds is the geeky television characters us normal nerds strive to become. Sadly we have no hope of achieving such levels of nerdvana so for now we're just going to look at some of the best TV nerds currently making the airwaves a bit smarter.

CBS Adds New Night Of Comedy, Not Much Else For 2008-09 Season
Every year, the upfront presentations have a different theme. Ok, so that's not always the case, but it would be pretty cool if it was, right? This year, however, there definitely seems to be a theme emerging. NBC's presentation in April, which seemed to be heralding in an era of change, proved to be a red herring. As this week has shown us, the theme this year is not change. It is stability.
For CBS, leader in overall viewers for the past several seasons (although it is being challenged by Fox in that category this year), sticking with the status quo makes sense. Due to that fac...

Ex-Scientoligist/Actor Jason Beghe Denounces The 'Religion'
TV star Jason Beghe has slammed the controversial Church of Scientology, branding his former religion "destructive" and "dangerous". The actor, who has appeared in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and Criminal Minds, began taking courses in Scientology in 1994 and even appeared in promotional footage for the religion in 2005.
Beghe was considered a 'top Scientologist' or 'OT5', a rank similar to Tom Cruise and John Travolta's standing in the church, but has now released footage on video-sharing website YouTube denouncing the controversial faith.

Celebrity Fashion Review: Some Stars Are Good Candy, Others Are Bad
Reviewing celebrity fashion is like being in a candy store. You have your good candy and your bad candy. Good candy like Jolly Ranchers, Starburst and M&M's (with peanuts, of course) makes your mouth water and leaves you wanting more. Bad candy such as jawbreakers could make you crack a tooth, and sour candy makes you feel like your tongue might explode. Check out this week's fashionably good and fashionably bad candy:

Grading The TV Networks: It's Report Card Time
The last two television seasons have had it all. We've seen everything from the birth of a broadcast network (the CW) to the most debilitating industry work stoppage in 20 years. Now it's time to take a closer look at each of the five major broadcast networks and see what they are doing right, what needs improvement, and where they stand.
Like any true report card, we won't be judging the networks on any one category alone. Although overall ratings are a factor, they are not the only factor. Also, we will be looking at the time period from Fall of 2006 (when the CW debuted) to pres...

The 'Justice League of America' Fantasy Casting Call
When offered a chance to make this list I thought, this is a fan boy's dream come true. I actually get to sit down and share who I think would make the best cast for the upcoming Justice League film. My opinions will be laid before you to judge, critique, and get angry over. On second thought, this might not qualify as a dream come true.
While making this list I followed a few self-imposed rules. First, I included only characters that are confirmed to be in the actual film, including the villain Maxwell Lord. You won't see my choices for Zatanna or the Green Arrow, sorry. Second, I ch...
