Criminal Minds is getting a new cast member. Jeanne Tripplehorn, who previously played Barb Henrickson on Big Love, is joining the show. Following the departure of series regular Paget Brewster, Tripplehorn is ready to fill her profiling shoes.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, She'll play a new FBI profiler, working alongside Thomas Gibson, Shemar Moore and Joe Mantegna.

CBS just announced its new 2012-2013 primetime schedule, which includes four new series. The network is also making four key time period moves.

Fans of hit TV show Criminal Minds have launched an online campaign to have cast member A.J. Cook reinstated after network bosses decided not to renew her contract for another season.

2009 is officially ending and 2010 is beginning. What this year means for the entertainment world is anyone's guess, but there will probably be some blockbusters, some brilliant indie films, a few surprises and disappointments, and then excitement for the following year. On television there have been some great new shows, such as "Glee" and "Modern Family," and some older shows that are going strong, like "24" and "Criminal Minds." But every once and awhile fans have to think about what little things they'd change in their favorite shows, and here's a look at a TV Wishlist for 2010.

Three Rivers starring Alex O'Loughlin has been canceled, according to TVGuide.com. Effective immediately, CBS will air repeats of Criminal Minds and NCIS: Los Angeles instead of the medical drama.

The series will complete production on all 13 episodes from the show's original order, but there's been no word on whether they will air.

"Three Rivers" has not been doing well in the ratings, drawing an average of 7.5 million viewers. Compare this to the network's "The Good Wife" and "NCIS: Los Angeles'" 13.7 million and 17.5 million respective averages.

MTV recently greenlit eight projects for series development, including a reinvention of Michael J. Fox's 1985 film "Teen Wolf," according to Variety.

The show will focus on romance, horror and werewolf mythology. Hmmm...a show about werewolves. Anyone see the connection to "Twilight" here?

"Criminal Minds" writer Jeff Davis is on board with executive producers Marty Adelstein ("Prison Break") and Rene Echevarria ("Castle").

CBS announced today the addition of four new series to strengthen its already top rated primetime lineup for the Fall 2009-2010 season.

The new series include three dramas and one comedy. Actress Kirsten Vangsness is to wed her longtime girlfriend Melanie Goldstein.

The star, known for her role on the TV drama Criminal Minds, is planning a Texas wedding this spring for her nuptials to Goldstein, an assistant editor on TV show 24.

Same-sex unions are only recognized in two U.S. states - Massachusetts and Connecticut - but Vangsness is hopeful the new government under President Barack Obama's leadership will work to change the law. And Vangsness admits even she is surprised by her own marriage news.
