Commander In Chief star Geena Davis insists a made-for-TV movie version of the show is the key to getting it back on the air as a series. The Emmy Award-nominated star was gutted when the show was cancelled and refuses to believe it will never return.

She explains, "It's devastating, and I haven't given up actually. There was a huge email campaign after the show wasn't picked up.
