Actor Jonathan Silverman has wed TV actress Jennifer Finnigan after the couple eloped to Greece last month. The couple quietly wed on June 7 in a cliffside villa on the island of Mykonos.

CBS in May will feature the unpredictable finales of the Network's hit series along with a royal farewell to The King of Queens when the comedy ends its nine-year, 200-plus episode run with a special one-hour finale.

CBS, ABC and NBC just announced their schedules for November sweeps. During "sweeps," Nielsen Media Research sends out diaries to sample homes across the country so TV viewers can record the shows they watched. Based on these results, networks set their advertising rates. The more people watch a show, the more they can charge for the commercials during it.

On the second season premiere of Ghost Whisperer (8-9 p.m. CBS), Melinda (Jennifer Love Hewitt)is greatly concerned when it seems that Andrea is being influenced by "Wide Brim." She goes to Professor Rick Payne, an expert in occult beliefs and history, to see if he can identify "Wide Brim" in order to win the battle for her friend's fate. Meanwhile, unbeknownst to Melinda, a young man who seems to be obsessed with her makes plans to fly from Seattle to see her. Meanwhile, after Charlie and Amita share an intimate moment, he freaks out when he thinks Amita has accepted a teaching position at CalSci to be with him. Later, Alan decides he is ready to find a place of his own. * On the season premiere of Law & Order (10 p.m. NBC), a cop is murdered in a failed burglary attempt and Detectives Green and Cassady are led to a "stalkerazzi" photographer, who is hot on the trail of tabloid sensation Sky Sweet (and her estranged husband "J-Train" Smolka.) Confident the burglary and subsequent murder is connected to incriminating photos of Sweet and her baby, the detectives see the case goes to court and A.D.A.s McCoy and Rubirosa find themselves in the media spotlight as they argue the use of "The Shield Law" to protect celebrity journalism.

TV actor David James Elliott has spent the past week recovering after falling from his bicycle while riding in Los Angeles on Friday, Sept. 1. The former JAG star, who is a part-time triathlete, required stitches on his ear and forehead after taking a tumble.

The TV season launches early this year when FOX kicks off season two of Prison Break in the tail end of August. The network is digging its heels in early with several August premieres, including Bones, House and a handful of new series. ABC, CBS, NBC and the new CW get in the game by mid-September.

CBS just announced plans for a powerfully packaged premiere week, featuring new season launches for 20 of its 22 primetime series during the week of Sept. 18. The network will jump start the season with early premieres of its award-winning reality series Survivor: Cook Islands and The Amazing Race 10.

CBS just announced the addition of four new series to its 2006-07 primetime line-up. The four new shows feature a roster of award-winning actors and executive producers and a unique mix of concepts and genres. The freshman series include The Class, a young and sexy ensemble comedy; Smith, a high octane heist thriller starring Ray Liotta and Virginia Madsen; the apocalyptic drama Jericho starring Skeet Ulrich; and Shark, a glossy, high-stakes courtroom drama starring James Woods.

Coming up on Close to Home: "The Good Doctor" -- Annabeth (Jennifer Finnigan) prosecutes a case involving a respected doctor who accuses a teenage delinquent of murdering his wife. Annabeth learns there's more to the story when the suspect arrested for the murder has an airtight alibi for the night the crime was committed.
