'Chicago Fire' Star Yuri Sardarov Turns Comedic In 'Boyband'
Saving the day on Chicago Fire is serious stuff, so it's a fun change of pace to see Yuri Sardarov (whom fans of the NBC show will know as Brian "Otis" Zvonecek) go for the laughs in the web series Boyband.

The second season officially premieres today, including Yuri as one of the members of the band's hilarious glam squad, and we caught up with him last week to talk about comedy and how he'd judge his own sense of style.

First off, how did he go from firefighter to stylist? Credit that to one of his Chicago Fire co-stars. "I think Chris Stolte, who plays Mouch, saw the first episode and ...

TCA Buzz: More 'Chicago' Crossovers, A Fourth Series Possible
This month's "One Chicago" crossover between Chicago Fire, Chicago P.D. and Chicago Med was a huge event for NBC, so it's no surprise that franchise boss Dick Wolf is going to continue to make more crossovers, as he has done since the start of Chicago P.D.

In fact, he revealed that a massive four-way crossover including all three shows and Law & Order: SVU (which has been established as being in the same universe as the Chicago series) is scheduled for February.

What's the motivation between crossing all these shows together multiple times a season? And how difficult is it to figure out l...

Who Just Joined The Cast Of 'Chicago Fire'?

3/10/2015 2:04pm EDT
'Motive' Star Warren Christie Heads To 'Chicago Fire'
Chicago Fire has added Motive star Warren Christie to its cast beginning with tonight's episode, in a role that Deadline Hollywood describes as "recurring with an option to become a regular next season."

He plays Scott Rice, an old friend of Kelly Severide (Taylor Kinney). Severide wants Chief Boden (Eamonn Walker) to give Scott a second chance with the Chicago Fire Department, but Casey (Jesse Spencer) is much more skeptical of the newcomer.

Warren currently stars on CTV's Motive as Sgt. Mark Cross, the supervisor and ex-boyfriend of Det. Angie Flynn (Kristin Lehman). Motive has begun pr...

The Best TV Finales Of 2014

The Best TV Finales Of 2014
All things must end- a film, a book, a refreshing, low-calorie Diet Dr. Pepper- but TV's different. On TV, a story grows over months (years, even), letting you build up a real, regular connection with those onscreen.

Then, when the ending hits, it slams into you with the impact of all those devoted hours that came beforehand.

It just feels so final, you know? Maybe that's why they call it a "finale."

2014 had its share of massive finales- maybe nothing on the level of "Breaking Bad" last year, but solid enders nonetheless. Shows that capped off their seasons with ridiculous cliffhangers...

10 Best TV Bromances: Are Your Favorites On The List?

10 Best TV Bromances: Are Your Favorites On The List?
Diehard, co-dependent friendships have become the stuff TV legend, not the "Pick me, choose me, love me" romances of the past. If "Orange Is The New Black" then so is the bromance. In honor bromance-based "Hawaii Five-0's" season premiere (and fast appraching 100th episode, I am counting down the 10 best TV bromances in returning shows.

Start with Number 10...

10. Walter and Jesse on AMC's "Breaking Bad"

Technically the show ended in 2013, there's no denying the bizarre bromance between the cancer-stricken chemistry teacher Walter White (Bryan Cranston) and his meth-h...

Fall TV 2014: A Night By Night Comparison Of What May And May Not Work

Fall TV 2014: A Night By Night Comparison Of What May And May No
Now that all the big networks have revealed what they’ll be showing us this fall, let’s take a look at what may or may not work.

ABC is essentially playing it safe, and keeping Sunday Night intact. American Crime will swap for Resurrection at midseason. Resurrection was a buzzy drama that started seeing a ratings decline. Not waiting till midseason is probably a smart move. You don’t want to lose any more audience. It’s not a winning strategy, but ABC just doesn’t want to be in last place.

NBC has football, another super safe move. CBS is shaking things up, banishing Amazing Race...

2013 Fall TV Season: What Will Be The Second Cancellation?

10/8/2013 6:00pm EDT
NBC- The Voice is still doing good numbers on Monday/Tuesday. The Blacklist is winning its timeslot, and was the first show (technically) to be rewarded with a back-nine pickup. Chicago Fire is also doing solid numbers on Tuesday. Revolution needs to regain some audience members if it wants a second season. With the success of The Blacklist, and Chicago Fire doing OK, Revolution is looking to be one of NBC’s weaker points right now. I can’t see it not running the full second season, but it might not get a third. Also, Ironside is definitely going to get cancelled. The premiere was so low, a...

2013 Fall TV Preview: The Returning Shows On NBC

Chicago Fire
I documented NBC's woes last week. Other bloggers and critics have documented NBC's woes. The network's like a kid that's get picked on, and then the sweetest mother in the world tries to help that child fit in and feel included. There isn't the sweetest mother blogger. Anyone writing about NBC anywhere is piling on. I'm sort of excited for the day The CW beats NBC. It'll probably never happen.

CHICAGO FIRE returns on Tuesday, September 24 at 10PM

Teri Reeves Lights Up NBC's 'Chicago Fire'

10/10/2012 10:30am EDT
Teri Reeves
As the saying goes, behind every great man is a great woman. On NBC's Chicago Fire, supporting heroic Lt. Matthew Casey (Jesse Spencer) is his wife, Hallie, played by Teri Reeves. Teri knows strong women, having left her mark in Hulu's original series Battleground and before that, on CBS's Three Rivers. She recently sat down with me to preview her role on Chicago Fire and talk about underrated shows past.

"Chicago Fire had fantastic storytelling and characters you cared immediately about," she said, explaining what attracted her to the new series. "Hallie is a woman of strength, a w...

Fall TV Preview: 6 Can't Miss New Shows

Stephen Amell
It’s the most wonderful time of the year. For many, that expression harkens up memories of a classic Christmas carol blaring though tinny mall speakers as you fight the crowds for the last three gifts on your lists. However, for this television blogger, Hollywood's newest crop of shows are all the presents I need. Judging strictly by the glittery wrapping that is their promos, here are my choices for this season’s can’t-miss new shows...

In the past few years, The CW has made valiant attempts to broaden their roster beyond shows geared towards the Bieber set with smarter, sle...
