David Caruso is breathing a sigh of relief after his ex-lover dropped her lawsuit against the CSI: Miami star.

Marquez proceeded to sue for fraud, breach of settlement and emotional distress, claiming Caruso even threatened to "bury her" if she pursued him for the cash.

TV Shows On The Verge Of Jumping The Shark
The concept of 'jumping the shark' is a fatal one for many involved in television. It all began in the tragic episode of 'Happy Days' in which iconic character, The Fonz, literally jumps over a shark, thus placing a death toll on the rest of the series. Decades later, some TV writers have playfully used the term in decidedly ironic tones, both 'The X-Files' and 'Supernatural' have episodes titled 'Jump the Shark' (Note: a portion of 'Supernatural's' crew are 'X-Files' alum) that tiptoe the line of throwing a series into oblivion.

Eddie Cibrian Lands 'CSI:Miami' Role
Actor Eddie Cibrian has bounced back following the intense media speculation over his alleged affair with Leann Rimes - he has landed a role on the hit crime series CSI: Miami.

However, despite constant reports Rimes' marriage to dancer Dean Sheremet is heading to the divorce courts, Cibrian has departed the furor relatively unscathed - and has been sig...

One To Watch: Nicki Aycox
If you sift well enough past your Lindsay Lohans, Megan Foxes, etc. you can still find talented, younger (20s-30s) actresses worthy of your time. One of the best examples is Nicki Aycox.
Like most newcomers, Aycox began her career with sprinkling guest appearances bouncing from popular television shows including 3rd Rock From The Sun, Boy Meets World, and Ally McBeal. She stood out in the "Rush" episode of X-Files. While a small role, it was enough for us to remember her two years later as Syl on Dark Angel. Zac Efron: The Next Leonardo DiCaprio Or Corey Feldman?
In theory, being a teen heartthrob seems like a pretty sweet gig. They never have to wait for tables at restaurants, they have throngs of adoring fans, and they get to date gorgeous models and actresses. Basically, they are given a first class ticket for life, which means more leg room, no middle seats, and cashews instead of peanuts.
But as appetizing as all that sounds, teen heartthrobdom isn't all that it's cracked up to be. It can be a dicey business that often comes at a hefty price because it doesn't guarantee that the ensuing path will be paved quite as goldenly as the yellow b...

TV's Best Crime Shows In Transition
Television's best crime show, CSI, enters a new era Thursday night as the first episode of the post-Grissom era. William Petersen had appeared in all but two of the episodes since first airing in 2000. CSI actually got its start on Friday nights, but was moved to Thursdays after Survivor when it started gaining some notice. This was back when Survivor was the hot new sensation, and naturally the viewers stuck around to fall in love with CSI.

This afternoon, NBC announced a breakthrough plan for fall 2009 that is unlike any other line-up ever produced.
It was well documented that this spring Jay Leno would be stepping down from his 16 year post at The Tonight Show. Late Night host Conan O'Brien would move into the 11:35/10:35c slot, and former SNL cast member Jimmy Fallon would be taking over for Conan on Late Night.
These moves led to speculation that Jay would in fact not be retiring, but instead ink a lucrative deal to create a new show on a competing network. With these talks moving from rumor to reality, NBC reali...
