November 29th, 2012 9:13am EST
Rider Strong
Rider Strong has denied reports he will be reprising his role in a sequel to hit '90s TV series Boy Meets World.

Rider, who played Shawn in the popular coming-of-age series, thinks that the new show, Girl Meets World, should have its own edge and not rely on old characters.

The show wrapped in 2000 after seven seasons but Rider has no plans to revisit his past, although he confesses it would be nice to see where his character ended up.

Ben Savage, who played Cory, and co-star Danielle Fishel, who played Topanga, have both signed up for the Disney update.

One To Watch: Nicki Aycox

Nicki Aycox
If you sift well enough past your Lindsay Lohans, Megan Foxes, etc. you can still find talented, younger (20s-30s) actresses worthy of your time. One of the best examples is Nicki Aycox.

Like most newcomers, Aycox began her career with sprinkling guest appearances bouncing from popular television shows including 3rd Rock From The Sun, Boy Meets World, and Ally McBeal. She stood out in the "Rush" episode of X-Files. While a small role, it was enough for us to remember her two years later as Syl on Dark Angel. Her resume is impressive; she also appeared on CSI, CSI: Miami, Ed, Provi...

It usually takes awhile for for me to warm up to any new series; this was not the case with Party Down -- premiering tonight (Friday) on Starz -- which is perhaps the funniest new show I've seen this season.

Adam talked about the new series, what it was like working with Will Ferrell in Step Brothers and why so many college age students watched his old show, Boy Meets World.

Mike: How did your involvement in Party Down come about...
