Last night the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences announced the winners of the 58th Annual Emmy Awards. The Fox drama 24 was named Outstanding Drama Series for the first time after five nominations in the category, and in its first season, the NBC series The Office, a U.S. adaptation of the hit British series of the same name, was named Outstanding Comedy Series. Martin Scorsese's 2005 documentary No Direction Home: Bob Dylan triumphed at the 27th Banff Rockie Awards in Alberta, Canada, last night.
