Being Human U.S. spin-off cancelled

The U.S. adaptation of cult British supernatural series Being Human has been cancelled after four seasons.

The current season's series finale, which is set to air in America on 7 April (14), will be the show's last episode.

A spokesman for the Syfy network, where the series is aired in America says, "Showrunner Anna Fricke and the talented producers, writers, cast and crew have done an amazing job bringing this show to life over the past four seasons and we sincerely thank them and the series' production company Muse Entertainment for their hard work.

The third season of Being Human, the U.S. version, premiered on SyFy on Monday, January 14. Recently, some of the main cast members, including Sam Huntington (Josh), Kristen Hager (Nora) and Sam Witwer (Aidan), as well as show runner Anna Fricke, participated in two press conference calls to discuss season 3.

It’s better late than never. While most networks only have a handful shows with fates undetermined, the CW just made its first saves by officially renewing “The Vampire Diaries,” “90210” and “Supernatural” for the 2012-2013 television season.
