Mr. T Will Never Cut Off His Mohawk

Mr. T has vowed to never shave off his trademark mohawk because he believes his exotic hairstyle has been the key to his Hollywood success.

The tough guy - real name Laurence Tureaud - insists his haircut was the main reason he shot to fame as B.A. Baracus in the 1980s TV series The A-Team.

He says, "I got the mohawk back in 1979 when I first became famous. A lot of producers said, 'Mr. T, you'll get a lot more acting jobs if you shave it off.' But I turned around and said, 'If I changed my hair, I wouldn't be who I am.' You see Frank Sinatra sang my song 'My Way.' I'm not wishy ...

Mr. T Gets Animated In Graphic Novel

Action man Mr. T is set to become a comic book hero. The mohawked former A-Team star will feature in his own graphic novel series. The iconic actor, who also appeared in Rocky III, has been animated by British publisher Mohawk Media, and demand for the new comics is so great a special Limited Advance Edition run of just 4,000 is to be released early.

Mr. T - real name Lawrence Trudeau - says, "It's great to be the star of a graphic novel... I'm so proud of all my life's work, but to see myself in this book feels extra special."

Ice Cube is begging studio bosses to cast him in the rumored A-Team movie as Bosco 'B.A.' Baracus. The rapper-turned-actor is one of a number of stars linked to the role, and he may have to compete with the likes of Ving Rhames, Michael Clark Duncan and the original B.A., Laurence 'Mr. T' Tureaud, to win the coveted part.

But Cube is convinced he's the best man for the job - and even auditioned on TV show Live With Regis & Kelly.

Director John Singleton To Revamp The A-Team

Boyz N The Hood director John Singleton is to lead The A-Team onto the big screen. The TV vigilante crew will return 20 years after becoming a massive hit on the small screen in a movie adaptation.

In the film update, the four-man team will be Iraq war veterans out to tackle evil oil tycoons.

Cast details have yet to be announced but original star Mr. T insists none of the TV A-Team will be making cameos in the movie.

The former stars of 1980s action series The A-Team will reunite for a reality TV program, in which they will attempt to contact their deceased co-star George Peppard.

Actors Dirk Benedict, Mr. T. and Dwight Schultz will appear on a special edition of British paranormal show Most Haunted later this year, when they will try to communicate with their old friend, who passed away from pneumonia in 1994.

Presenter Yvette Fielding says, "We're all going to Los Angeles for a week to film it. It took a lot of doing to get those three together - now we have to do the really hard part."

Action man Mr. T decided to write a book detailing his cancer battle to encourage fellow sufferers that if he can fight the disease in the public eye, then they can overcome the affliction too. The A-Team star was diagnosed with lymphoma in 1995 and underwent a recovery program including chemotherapy and radiation.

An upcoming British documentary about classic series The A-Team has been given the seal of approval by late star George Peppard. Peppard, who died in 1994, was contacted by a Hollywood medium by the crew behind "Bring Back The A-Team" and reportedly gave his blessing from beyond the grave.

A source says, "We visited Madam Francesca, a medium on Sunset Boulevard, to see if we could make contact with George. We took a toy figure of Peppard's character Hannibal, for Madam Francesca to hold. She said George was delighted with the idea."
