Series Finale of '7th Heaven' Set For May

After 11 seasons, 7th Heaven is bidding adieu, according to the Hollywood Reporter. The series finale, “And Away We Go,” will air May 13 at 8 p.m. The tenth season was initially slated to be its last until the newly formed network CW picked it up from WB last year.

7th Heaven debuted in August 1996 on WB. It centers on a minister (Stephen Collins) and his large family.

CW's 'The Game' Gets Full Season Pickup

The CW Network has picked up the back nine episodes of freshman comedy "The Game" and returning drama 7th Heaven, giving each series a full season order, it was announced today by Dawn Ostroff, President of Entertainment, The CW.

"The Game" centers on the lives and relationships among NFL wives, girlfriends and mom/managers who use their best "game" to help their men stay on the field and on their arm. The series stars Tia Mowry, Coby Bell, Pooch Hall, Hosea Chanchez, Brittany Daniel and Wendy Raquel Robinson.

CW Cancels 'Runaway'

After just four episodes, the CW has pulled the drama “Runaway” from its schedule, according to the Hollywood Reporter. Donnie Wahlberg and Leslie Hope starred in the series, which centered on a family on the run from the law.

Last month, “Runaway” opened to weak numbers in its Monday night timeslot behind 7th Heaven. Last week, the two shows were moved to Sunday night, but “Runaway” only averaged about 1.8 million viewers.
