Actor Stephen Collins has confessed to molesting three underage girls between 1973 and 1994 in an essay he penned for People magazine.

An audio recording believed to contain the former 7th Heaven star admitting to his crimes surfaced online back in October. Collins was taped during a therapy session with his estranged wife Faye Grant in 2002, during which he'd said he molested an 11-year-old relative of his first wife, a girl from his Los Angeles neighborhood, and a Girl between the ages of 12 and 13 in New York City.

Stephen Collins
Actor Stephen Collins, who has been losing jobs left and right since admitting on tape that he sexually molested at least three young girls over a decade ago, is making headlines again because he starred in an 11-minute short film by director Jeff Wolfe ("Revolution") earlier this year -- as a pedophile priest.

The short, titled "Penance," was screened during the Catalina Film Festival last month, just days before the audio tape surfaced on TMZ.com.

Collins -- in a twist of irony -- became a household name thanks to his role as Reverend Eric Camden on hit TV series "7th Heaven." He is cur...

Everyone can think of one off the top of their head: A TV show that got the axe way too soon. Here, we honour five shows that suffered an especially gruesome and undeserved death.

Profit (1996), 4 episodes aired

The best show you have probably never heard of. Also, it is the most cancelled of all cancelled shows, taken off the air by FOX after only four episodes in 1996, even though eight had been completed (and were later released on DVD).

Spotlight On Movies That Became Musicals

August 28th, 2008 10:30am EDT
The Little Mermaid
Fans of movie musicals know that most of their favorites, like "Grease," "West Side Story," "The Sound of Music," and "Oklahoma!" were adapted from popular Broadway plays. However, the trend in recent years has been to flip that formula around by taking a big-screen hit and trying to turn it into a small-stage sensation.

Disney has had great success with its theatrical adaptations, starting in 1994 with the critically-acclaimed "Beauty and the Beast." The hits kept coming with stage productions of "The Lion King," "Mary Poppins," and, most recently, "The Little Mermaid."
