Actress Tina Fey worked with a dialect coach to perfect her Russian accent for her new film Muppets Most Wanted.

The former 30 Rock star, who plays a Russian government agent in the movie, refused to take her role in the puppet parody lightly and when she started to struggle with her accent, she agreed to work with an expert to perfect her voice.

She explains, "They (producers) brought this wonderful woman named Jill, who is like a real dialect coach, this British woman who works with like Keira Knightley."

Alec Baldwin is a dad again - the actor's yoga teacher wife Hilaria gave birth to the couple's baby girl on Friday (23Aug13).

Little Carmen Gabriela was born at New York City's Mount Sinai Hospital.

New mum Hilaria, who wed the 30 Rock star in June, 2012, has released a statement, in which she calls the newborn "absolutely perfect”.

The baby girl is the couple's first child together but Alec has a 17-year-old daughter, Ireland, with his ex-wife Kim Basinger.

Megan Wollover gave birth to little Maven Sonae in the early hours of the morning and the comedian couldn't be happier.

The couple became engaged in 2011.

Thursday marked the beginning of the end for 30 Rock, as the show premieres its seventh and final season. But according to cast member Alec Baldwin, it may not have had to be that way. On Thursday, he posted on his Twitter page that he had attempted to save the show.

"I offered NBC to cut my pay 20% in order to have a full 7th and 8th seasons of 30 Rock," he said. "I realize times have changed. I am looking forward to some time off."

TV bosses at NBC have confirmed reports that hit comedy 30 Rock is to end after one more season.

NBC president Robert Greenblatt announced the official news during a press conference on Monday.
