Michael C. Hall stars as Ken Castle in the eerie, action filled thriller Gamer, opening today. Michael takes us back to his southern roots playing a billionaire who creates the video game "Slayers" which allows players to use real prisoners as avatars to fight in a live combat game. Gamer, which also stars Gerard Butler, Amber Valletta, John Leguizamo and Kyra Sedgwick, is set in the future where video games and high tech entertainment have taken high priority in the world.

CBS announced today its 2007-2008 fall primetime lineup, featuring five new series - one comedy, three dramas and one reality program. These freshman series will join 17 returning programs on the current CBS lineup.

The five new series feature bold and creative concepts, including "Viva Laughlin," where drama is accented by iconic music; "Cane," starring Jimmy Smits as the head of a powerful South Florida Cuban-American family; "Moonlight," a romantic thriller with a new twist on the vampire legend; "The Big Bang Theory," a comedy about genius geeks from "Two and A Half Men" co-creator...

Model-turned-actress Amber Valletta has reportedly checked into the Meadows rehabilitation center in Arizona, suffering "stress" and "image issues." The Hitch star, 32, is also struggling with a non-substance related addiction, reports the New York Daily News.

The newspaper claims Valletta, who is married to former Olympic volleyball player Christian McCaw, entered Meadows last week and will leave today. Her representative has been unavailable for comment.

Former celebrity detoxees of Meadows include Kate Moss, Matthew Perry, Whitney Houston and Backstreet Boy AJ McLean.
