'Girl-next-door' supermodel Niki Taylor was born on March 5, 1975, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, but she grew up in Pembroke Pines. The former aspiring marine biologist attended Cooper City High School, and her modeling career got started when her mother sent photos of her 13-year-old daughter to a Florida modeling agency. Soon after Nikki was on the cover of "Seventeen" Magazine. Niki became the youngest model ever to sign a multi-million dollar contract when she became a "L'Oreal" spokesperson, and she has appeared on over 400 worldwide magazine covers. Niki was married to Arena football player Matt Martinez, the father of her two twin sons, and has been romantically linked to country singer Keith Urban and NASCAR driver Burney Lamar. Niki has also started her own company named Niki Inc., and she has appeared as a guest host of MTV's "House Of Style" and as a reporter for "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous." On a couple of sad notes, on July 2, 1995, Niki's younger sister and model Krissy Taylor died from asthma complications, and on April 29, 2001, Niki was critically injured in a car accident where afterwards she was unconscious for six weeks.
