Nicknamed "The Chameleon" for her continuously changing look, Daniela Pestova was born October 14, 1970, in Teplice, Czech Republic. When she was 19 years old, a modeling scout spotted the 5'11" blue-eyed blonde and asked her to enter a contest, which she won. She then flew to Paris to sign with the Madison Agency and hasn't looked back.
After living in France for two years she moved to New York City, even though she didn't speak any English. Her career took off. Pestova went on to grace the covers of GQ, Cosmopolitan, Elle, Marie Claire, and Glamour. In 1994 she made a contract with L'Oreal to become their spokesperson and print model. In addition, she modeled for Victoria's Secret. Pestova is also famous for being on the cover of the Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue in 1995 and 2000.
The supermodel was once married to the Italian CEO of The Fashion Café, Tomasso Buti, but the couple split up in 1998. The two have one son named Yannick. Pestova currently lives in the Hamptons and has a home in Miami.
