Supermodel Christie Brinkley was born Christie Lee Hudson on February 2, 1954, in Detroit, MI. In 1976, Christie signed the longest model contract ever with cosmetics giant Cover Girl. She was in three consecutive Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issues (1979-1981). Her movie career includes the films "Young Doctors in Love," "Vacation" and "Vegas Vacation." Christie has been married four times: Jean-François Allaux (1973-1981), Billy Joel (1985-1994), Richard Taubman (1994-1995), and Peter Cook (1996-2006). She also has three children and is a long time member of PETA.
Having appeared on countless runways and magazine covers (including the coveted Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover for three consecutive years), Christie Brinkley is one of the elite few women in the fashion industry who have earned the title "supermodel." The mother of three held a contract for a staggering 20 years with Cover Girl Cosmetics, and continues to appear in magazine ads for mature skin. Aside from being the inspiration for several of former husband Billy Joel's songs ("Uptown Girl," "Christie Lee," and "Blonde Over Blue," among others), Brinkley is known for catching the attention of hapless family man Clark Griswold (Chevy Chase) in National Lampoon's Vacation (1983).
