Gwyneth Paltrow has spoken out again to blast reports her 2011 cookbook was the work of a ghostwriter, insisting she would never lie about her professional life.

A reporter for the New York Times recently questioned the extent of Paltrow's involvement in putting together My Father's Daughter, and instead linked writer Julia Turshen to the collection of family recipes and cooking tips.

Axed soaps All My Children and One Life To Live are set to go out with a bang after scoring a combined total of 25 nominations for the 2011 Daytime Emmy Awards.

Earlier this year, ABC network bosses announced All My Children will come to an end in September after 41 years on air, while One Life To Live will also be scrapped following a 43-year run.

'Survivor' Renewed For Two More Seasons; Jeff Probst To Return

CBS has renewed Survivor for two more seasons with Jeff Probst returning as host, the network announced Wednesday.

The deal will keep the longest-running reality competition series on TV through 2012. Survivor is in its 22nd season with Redemption Island. It moved from its longtime Thursdays at 8/7c berth to Wednesdays at 8/7c in September.

'Aarti Party's' Indian Menu Brings Food Network Much-Need Diversity

Effervescent, flower-donning "Next Food Network Star" champ Aarti Sequeira kicked off her new cooking program a couple of weeks ago, based off the online show she independently produced pre-Food Network. It's called "Aarti Party," and features dishes inspired by Aarti's Indian roots.

The Mumbai-born Northwestern grad is Food Network's first Asian host since Ming Tsai, whose show "East Meets West" ran on the channel from 1998 to 2003. "Aarti Party" is also Food Network's first show to focus on Indian cuisine, and second to Tsai's to primarily feature Asian food of any kind.
