X-Men star Hugh Jackman took the stage at a charity evening in New York on Wednesday night to help stamp out world poverty.
The Hollywood actor helped launch the Global Poverty Project's new awareness movie 1.4 Billion Reasons at Manhattan's Museum of Modern Art (MoMA), in front of a star-studded audience which included Gerard Butler and fashion designer Donna Karan.

Donna Karan Dubbed 'Bunny Butcher' By Animal Activists
Animal rights protesters have left a graffiti attack outside fashion designer Donna Karan's New York home. A group called the Paint Panthers has sprayed abusive messages on streets surrounding her house in the Hamptons, on New York's Long Island - including "Bunny Butcher", a reference to her use of fur in her creations.
People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals has denied any link to the attack, but are long term critics of Karan.
