Liv Tyler: For the first nine years of her life, Liv was told she was the daughter of Todd Rundgren by her mother, Bebe Buell. However, a meeting with Steven Tyler's other daughter Mia revealed the truth. In 1991, Liv gave herself her father's last name - she was previously known as Liv Rundgren.

Spotlight On Jon Stewart

December 8th, 2008 10:43am EST
Jon Stewart
If someone said years ago that Jon Stuart Leibowitz would become one of the respected and beloved comedians in the world, he would have been the first person to start laughing. After all, he was "that dude" from movies like "Half Baked," "The Faculty," and "Playing by Heart." He changed his name in Hollywood to Jon Stewart, and "The Jon Stewart Show" was canceled after a very short life span. He was a somewhat successful stand up comedian, and hosted "Short Attention Span Theater" on Comedy Central and an MTV show called "You Wrote It, You Watch It." Neither of which did particularly well. ...

Battle Of The Campaign Songs: How Music Affects The Presidential Race

March 25th, 2008 11:23am EDT
John Mellencamp
Music is a universal hobby. It's one that everyone can - and likely does - share. You don’t have to know a whole lot about it to like it, and you don’t have to be "good at it" to listen to what it has to say. Thus, music is a powerful way for politicians to speak to their voting public. And where words and speeches fail, a campaign song can intervene and convey the message.

John Mellencamp must have been very aware of these facts when he asked GOP frontrunner John McCain to remove his anthem "Our Country" from his political campaign (after McCain usurped the song from campaign drop-out...

February 15th, 2008 4:16pm EST
Simon Cowell
"You've got balls!" While it may appear to be an insult, it's really a grudging compliment -- an off-color testament to a person's confidence, fearlessness and take-no-prisoners approach to life.

To mark the premiere of its uncensored and very "ballsy" new sketch comedy series, "The Whitest Kids U' Know," the IFC cable network asked Americans a direct and unprecedented question -- to name the politicians, political pundits and entertainment stars they think have the most major cojones...and those who are most in need of more testosterone in their public lives!

So which politicians...
