David Beckham used to have movie nights with Tom Cruise.
The 38-year-old hunk recently moved back to England with his wife Victoria and their children, Brooklyn, 14, Romeo, 11, Cruz, eight, and two-year-old daughter Harper, but when he lived in Los Angeles he would go round to the actor's house and chill out in front of the television.
He said: "When we were living in LA, Tom cruise lived two minutes away. He's a good friend. There were occasions when I'd call him up and ask him if he had a new movie that wasn't out yet, and I'd go round and watch it with him."

The eight-time Oscar nominated actor passed away in London yesterday (14.12.13) aged 81, and many have expressed their sadness at the loss of the great Hollywood star.
His agent, Steve Kenis, said: "He was one of a kind in the very best sense and a giant in his field."

The U2 frontman, British supermodel and 'Monster' actress joined political leaders from around the globe to pay tribute to the former South African president - who died last week aged 95 following a long illness - at a service in Johannesburg.

The South African activist and former President died aged 95 at his home in Johannesburg, South Africa, surrounded by his family.
