Bob Barker
Beloved game show host Bob Barker has spent almost $1 million relocating three African elephants from Canada to the warmth of California.

The dedicated animal-rights advocate spent two years lobbying local officials in Ontario for the three females, Toka, Thika and Iringa, to be released from Toronto Zoo and moved to a climate more similar to their natural habitat.

Authorities finally agreed and the trio were transferred to a sprawling estate in San Andreas over the weekend. Barker was on hand to welcome the elephants into their new home, and admits he welled up at the sight of the anim...

September 5th, 2012 11:18am EDT
Bob Barker
For five years The Price Is Right has continued on without longtime host Bob Barker, but does that mean he doesn't deserve an invite to the show's 40th anniversary special? We think not!

In an interview on Tuesday, the 88-year-old added, "They haven't even offered me a DVD," while The Price Is Right producers had no comment.

What could have led to bad blood between the iconic game show and its host of 35 years? A beef over beef, actually.

In recent years, Bob Barke...

Shining Star Drew Carey
Shining Star - Drew Carey: Drew Carey, come on down...you're the next celeb to be named the "Shining Star of the Week"!

The formerly portly The Price is Right host is rocking a slimmer physique after dropping a reported 80 pounds in less than eight months. Carey told Us Magazine that he trimmed his figure through good ole fashioned diet and exercise because he was "sick of being fat".

And as any good game show host might say, "And that's not all!". Carey also won points this week for handling a minor zinger thrown at him by Bob Barker with class. The Price is Right's former host told a TM...

John O'Hurley Discusses His New CD, 'Family Feud,' & His Role As Peterman On 'Seinfeld'

February 17th, 2009 11:05am EST
John O Hurley
I lied to John O'Hurley. I told John O'Hurley -- who is best known for his role as J. Peterman on Seinfeld -- on my own merit, that I was going to avoid any questions about Seinfeld. I swear, I gave it a gallant effort. I really thought I was going to make it through. Do you realize how hard of a subject this is to avoid when an actor is so known for a role; especially when that character is on a show I still love? Sadly, I succumbed to temptation. I accept your scorn.

Thankfully, John was more than willing to discuss the iconic show along with his new classical CD, Family Feud, why he...

Taking A Look At 'The Price Is Right'

September 24th, 2008 2:07pm EDT
Drew Carey
The Price Is Right is all about testing one's knowledge of how much stuff costs, but while that's interesting and all, it's more about people jumping around like idiots in their homemade t-shirts, tacky sets, a host who was somehow simultaneously sleazy and classy, and foxy women displaying fabulous prizes but almost never speaking. It's a show that had barely changed from 1972 until 2007, which was the time of Bob Barker's tenure, and there's something to be said for that (see the aforementioned tacky sets). When Mr. Barker retired at age 83, new host Drew Carey had to step in and fill h...

Funny Film Cameos

June 2nd, 2008 10:13am EDT
Ben Stiller
A cameo used to refer to a famous person who made an appearance in a film as him or herself. Now actors play small parts as a character in a film for comic relief. Most cameos are non-credited due to the shortness of the screen time or because they are so famous they don't need a big credit. Some are publicity stunts. Others pay tribute to that actor's work in a similar role, but they are all for the most part hilarious. Following are 10 of film's funniest cameos in no particular order:

Will Ferrell as the pompous and entertaining Chazz Reinhold in Wedding Crashers
