Known for films such as "Forrest Gump," "Castaway," "The Da Vinci Code" and "Saving Private Ryan," Tom Hanks has been named the most trusted celebrity in America.

Hanks, who has won three Academy Awards, has had a prolific 30-year career and managed to maintain a squeaky clean image throughout.

Hanks recently starred in "Cloud Atlas" and has several films in production, including "Saving Mr. Banks," "Captain Phillips," "In the Garden Of Beasts," "The Lost Symbol" and "Toy Story 4."

Maya Angelou Recovering After Hospitalization

Revered poet Maya Angelou is recovering following a brief period in the hospital.

The 85 year-old author was hospitalized in North Carolina earlier this week, but no details of her ailment were released.

Doctors have barred her from traveling for the next month so she can rest at home and recovered, forcing her to cancel an appearance at Butler University on thrusday.

The university's rep said, "Angelou and Butler University officials both said they hope to reschedule her appearance in the fall. Butler University extends best wishes to Dr. Angelou for her continued health and healing."

Country music star LeAnn Rimes Cibrian recently got a new tattoo and took to Twitter to reveal it to her followers.

The tattoo, which was inked on her foot, reads, “The only one that matters.”

LeAnn revealed the new art to her Twitter followers, writing:

“Ok … here it is! It’s dainty. All of my tattoos are very feminine.”
