Miranda Lambert has toppped this year's list of nominations for 48th Annual CMA Awards with a whopping nine nods.

The singer matched the current record of nominations for a female that she set back in 2010.

Alan Jackson is the only star to receive more nominations at the CMA Awards -- he landed 10 nods in 2002.

Singer Darius Rucker and the members of Little Big Town revealed the nominations on ABC's "Good Morning America" on Wednesday, a list which includes, not surprisingly, several of country music's biggest names.

Country star Zac Brown and his wife are expanding their family...again. The couple is expecting their fifth child.
 
The Zac Brown Band singer and his wife, Shelly, already have four daughters, who are all aged between six and two. We're guessing they're hoping for a son!
 
The singer's rep told People.com, "We're excited to share the news that Zac and Shelly are expecting a new baby in early 2014."

Brown is used to living with a lot of people. He is one of 12 children.

The band is known for songs such as "Chicken Fried," "Toes," "Highway 20 Ride" and "Free."

Country star Blake Shelton has signed on to revamp Kenny Loggins' Footloose anthem for the movie remake of the cult film.

The soundtrack will also feature new renditions of Bonnie Tyler's "Holding Out For a Hero," Ann Wilson and Mike Reno's "Almost Paradise" and Deniece Williams' "Let's Hear it For The Boy" by acts like Victoria Justice, Hunter Hayes, Ella Mae Brown and Jana Kramer.
